The sustainable use of natural resources is a priority for us. We use almost exclusively environmentally friendly and renewable raw materials in the development and production of our gong pens and gong mallets. This is also the case with the Smooth Lava Edition gong mallet: the head of the friction mallet is made from 100% renewable natural caoutchouc . In order to produce even less waste, we do not use deep abrasion.
We also use regional raw materials whenever possible. Olli personally ensures these high standards: he monitors the production process every step of the way and incorporates your suggestions for improvement into further development. The balls of our friction mallet are cast by hand and then finished with various tools until the desired surface is achieved. This can result in small irregularities on the ball, which are due to this manual process. This is therefore completely normal and has no influence on the sound that you can produce with this friction mallet .
