The roughened surface of the grater head is reminiscent of cooled lava stone. The slightly roughened surface also ensures that a very intense and deep sound is produced when the gong is rubbed, the vibrations of which immediately get under your skin.
Always comfortable to hold despite its weight
Weighing in at 185 grams, the friction mallet Edition 70 is a real heavyweight among gong mallets. However, you won't experience any fatigue when playing, as the handle is made of very light and non-slip fiberglass that can easily withstand even high pressure from the head. For an even more comfortable playing experience, we have additionally coated the ollihess friction mallet Edition 70 with cork, so that the handle lies securely and firmly in your hand. Due to its high weight and special grip, only a little pressure on the gong surface is needed to produce intense and harmonious tones. Despite its variety of materials, the friction mallet Edition 70 is completely vegan.

Be surprised by the visual effects: If you play the gong in the light area, the black color of the rubber head creates an exciting contrast that merges directly with the black edge of the gong. If you want to play the gong chime on a black area of the gong instead, the sounds are produced with the Lava Edition 70 gong chime so that they feel invisible.
