Awaken multifaceted worlds of sound with the Crazy Egg gong driver
Explore a new dimension of sound play with the Crazy Egg gong driver. In contrast to conventional gong mallets, the Crazy Egg gives you different surfaces that allow you to play a wide range of tones. Thanks to its unusual shape, both very small and large contact surfaces are possible on your sound instrument. The soft and gentle surface of the rubber compound provides a pleasant playing feel and a versatile sound design. The "crazy egg" is available in bright colors and attracts everyone's attention.
Variety of sounds thanks to different surfaces
Be inspired by the versatility of this grater and create a wide variety of tones with ease. We use a sustainable rubber mixture and corn starch in the head of this grater. The surface is only gently roughened with a special tool in the final production step. Thanks to its shape and texture, the Crazy Egg gong reamer allows you to produce bright, medium and deep tones with ease. With skillful handling, you can even produce sounds reminiscent of whale song.
PLEASE NOTE: Small irregularities are completely normal!
The balls of our friction mallets are hand-cast and then refined with various tools until the desired surface is achieved. This artisanal process can result in small imperfections on the ball. This is completely normal and does not affect the sound you can create with this friction mallet.
