The surface is only gently roughened with a special tool in the final production step. Thanks to its shape and texture, the Crazy Egg gong reamer allows you to produce bright, medium and deep tones with ease. With skillful handling, you can even produce sounds reminiscent of whale song.

The balls of our friction mallets are hand-cast and then refined with various tools until the desired surface is achieved. This artisanal process can result in small imperfections on the ball. This is completely normal and does not affect the sound you can create with this friction mallet.
