What is the Earthtones Collection?

Earthtones is more than a color collection – it's a philosophy. At ollihess, we believe that sound tools should also visually connect with nature. The Earthtones Collection combines natural earth colors like Forest, Sand, Olive, and Terracotta with the proven ollihess craftsmanship. The result is mallets that feel as good in your hand as they look.

An overview of the Earthtones Collection products

The Profi Gong Mallet earthtone is available in two head sizes: 80mm and 100mm. The 80mm is suitable for precise, nuanced playing on medium-sized gongs, while the 100mm, with its larger head, fully brings out the deep frequencies of large gongs.

The earthtone light edition is available in three sizes – S, M, and L – and is the lighter, more agile sibling of the large Earthtone Mallet. It is ideal for creating more delicate sounds, long sessions, and working with singing bowls.

The earthtone light Set combines the light edition as a coordinated package – perfect for anyone who wants to start with the full range right away. The earthtone Forest Collection is the largest set in the line, bundling the most important Earthtone Mallets for maximum sound variety in one package.

For large gongs and extended sound sessions

Earthtone Mallets belong with gongs – and that's where they unleash their full potential. The light edition is especially suitable for creating more delicate sounds and precise playing on medium-sized gongs. The large Earthtone Mallet, with its 80mm and 100mm heads, fully resonates the deep, grounding frequencies of large gongs and is the ideal companion for extended sound bath setups.

Natural caoutchouc, fleece, and beech: Earthy down to the materials
