Crazy egg Gong friction mallet

The Crazy Egg friction mallet from ollihess is made in Germany and offers you the usual good quality. Each model of the friction mallet is handmade and therefore a real unique specimen. The special egg shape not only makes this instrument a model of its kind, but is also responsible for a wide range of possible tones. Why this works you ask? In contrast to the ball-shaped gong pens, here you have different surfaces on the reamer available for use. With the right handling you can elicit a variety of different sounds from your gong with this interesting and unique tool. Because bright, as well as medium and deep tones can be produced easily with the friction mallet from ollihess. You can create sounds that resemble whale song.

To ensure the best quality, each gong driver is completely assembled by hand.

For a longer life you should make sure that your gong is cleaned regularly, because most of the dirt settles in the scraper surface and thus you compact the scraper.

Tip: If your friction mallet is dirty, pour boiling water over it (be careful not to burn yourself!) and do not dry it afterwards, but let it air dry.
