Doubly creative: The Profi Gong Mallet J.O.-70 is playable on both sides and allows you to discover an even greater variety of sounds with just one mallet. With the felt ball you can create beautifully bright tones, with the fleece-covered head you can create a wide variety of impressive sounds and vibrations.

The two heads create a perfect balance, so that the Mallet sits well in your hand in any position. A special feature is also the long handle, which not only gives you freedom of play, it also ensures a back-friendly posture.

Light weight and ergonomic shape

Your needs in focus: Our two-sided mallet always lies comfortably soft in your hand thanks to the thickened ends. The handle was made of beech and then sealed with organic wax. No matter in which position you hold it – due to its shape and the materials it won’t slip out of your hand while playing and won’t wear out on one side even after long use.

With a weight of approx. 100 grams and a handle length of 39 centimetres, the Profi Gong Mallet J.O.-70 is one of our smaller and also lighter mallets. However, its size and weight say absolutely nothing about the sound intensity and variety – here you have to give up absolutely nothing. The Mallet is particularly suitable for gongs with a diameter of 40 centimetres to 2 metres and singing bowls from 700 grams.

Felt head and rubber head for warm and light tones

For each mallet series Olli Hess develops a new, very special natural rubber head. Natural rubber is a very soft material which, in combination with our Wellness Fleece, ensures that there is virtually no impact noise from your chime. The nonwoven felt is also characterized by its softness. With the spherical mallet head you can produce particularly bright tones on a gong or also a singing bowl.

Our tip: The Profi Gong Mallet J.O.-70 can also be played great with a second mallet as a “pair”.

Long durability due to high quality materials

You can rely on our products for a long time: Felt has a high durability against mechanical wear. The white mallet head does not lose its shape even after long use.

The natural rubber head is covered by a wellness fleece, which is also characterized by its high resistance. The soft materials protect your mallet from abrasion and won’t cause scratches on your gong.
